What a furniture lift is

When the stairs or the lift simply are not enough

A furniture lift carries furniture, boxes and awkward items up the outside of the building and straight into the right floor – through the window or over the balcony. It is the answer to a high floor, a narrow stairwell or a missing lift. We work exclusively with our own lifts and experienced operators, in Berlin and across Germany.

  • No hauling anything through the stairwell
  • Fast and gentle on your furniture
  • Also for heavy and bulky pieces
  • Far less risk to walls, doorframes and your back
  • Experienced operator always included
  • Berlin and Germany-wide

Our lifts

Four modern furniture lifts – one for every height

From the compact telescopic lift to the Topworker with a 37-metre reach, we pick the machine that suits your building. The bars show the maximum working height.

  1. 18 m Stecklift approx. 6th floor The flexible telescopic lift for tight, awkward sites.
  2. 24 m Junior lift approx. 8th floor Compact and manoeuvrable – ideal for narrow access and ordinary blocks of flats.
  3. 24 m Topworker approx. 8th floor Powerful and quick for moves into the middle floors.
  4. 37 m Topworker approx. 12th floor Our height specialist for tower blocks and top-floor flats.

Floor figures are guide values – the height that actually counts is the window or balcony we have to reach. Which lift fits your address is agreed with you beforehand.

Where it is used

When a furniture lift pays for itself

Six situations in which we always recommend one – usually because the alternative costs more time, more people and more risk.

Moving into a high floor

Furniture and boxes go straight into the right storey – nothing is hauled up the stairwell.

No lift, or one that is too small

If the lift is missing, broken or too small, the furniture lift takes over the transport.

Bulky and heavy pieces

Sofa, wardrobe, washing machine or piano – large items get up and down safely too.

Narrow stairwells

If a piece will not go round the stairwell, the route simply runs up the outside of the building.

Renovation & clearances

Moving building materials or bulky waste in and out is far quicker and easier with the lift.

Gentler transport

Less carrying means less risk to furniture, walls, doorframes and backs.

How it works

Four steps and you are up there

  1. 1

    Enquiry & advice

You tell us the height, the furniture and the address – we recommend the right lift.

  2. 2

    Fixed-price quote

You receive a transparent fixed price, operator included.

  3. 3

    Set-up on site

We position the lift safely and align it to your window or balcony.

  4. 4

    Transport

Furniture and boxes go up or down quickly and gently.

One thing to plan for: a furniture lift needs a stable, reserved footprint on the street, so a no-parking zone is often required. On request we apply for it and set it up – just say the word when you ask for your quote.

Frequently asked questions

FAQ – Furniture lift: heights, operators & costs

The key answers about lifts, heights, how it works and what it costs – and when you can reach us.

+ What is a furniture lift and when do I need one?

A furniture lift carries furniture and boxes up the outside of the building and straight into the storey – ideal for high floors, narrow stairwells, or when there is no suitable lift in the building.

+ Which lifts do you use?

We work exclusively with our own machines: a Junior lift and a telescopic lift with a working height of 18 to 24 metres, and the Topworker with a working height of up to 37 metres.

+ How high does the furniture lift reach?

Depending on the model, up to roughly the 6th, 8th or 12th floor. Which lift suits your building is agreed with you beforehand, based on the height and the conditions on site.

+ Is an operator included?

Yes. Our furniture lifts always come with an experienced operator who sets the lift up safely and works it throughout.

+ What does a furniture lift cost?

The price depends on the height, the duration and the effort involved. You receive a transparent fixed price in advance, with no hidden costs.

+ Do I need a permit or a no-parking zone?

A set-up area – and usually a no-parking zone – is often required. On request we arrange it for you; just mention it when you ask for your quote.

+ Is transport by furniture lift safe for my furniture?

Yes. The lift moves things gently and evenly, which considerably reduces the risk to furniture, walls and doorframes compared with carrying everything through the stairwell.

+ Do you only work in Berlin?

Our base is Berlin – and with our furniture lifts we work both in Berlin and across Germany.

+ Is a short-notice booking possible, even for a single item?

Yes. We can come at short notice, and we will come for one single heavy or bulky object. A quick, straightforward job is possible at any time.

+ Do you also hire out furniture lifts to companies for several days?

Yes. For businesses we can provide the furniture lift over several days as a continuous deployment. On request we also instruct your own staff so that they can operate it themselves.
