What that means for your move
If your flat is inside the pedestrian zone, we apply for the access permit and book a delivery window, then plan the team around that slot so the lorry is not standing where it should not be. Where the lane is simply too narrow for a full-size vehicle, we bring a smaller shuttle van and run it to the lorry parked outside.
Outside the Altstadt it is more straightforward – and we still secure a no-parking zone at both addresses so the carrying distance stays short.

Yes – but not spontaneously. We apply for the access permit for the pedestrian zone and book a delivery window, then plan the team around that slot. If the lane itself is too narrow for a full-size lorry, we run a smaller shuttle van between your door and the lorry parked outside the zone.
Do you charge extra for Kladow, Gatow or the far edge of the district?
No – there is no distance surcharge for the Havel villages. What we do plan for is the drive: the lorry takes the road route around the water, and that time is built into the schedule rather than discovered on the day.
We live in a high-rise in Falkenhagener Feld. Do you book the lift?
Yes. In the estates the building lift usually has to be reserved with the caretaker or the management, and we arrange the slot as part of the planning. If the cabin will not take the wardrobe or sofa, we bring a furniture lift that reaches the upper floors from outside.
Do you move within Spandau as well as into and out of it?
All three. We move into Spandau from elsewhere in Berlin or another city, from one address to another within the district, and out of Spandau to anywhere in Berlin, across Germany or abroad.
How quickly can you move me?
Often within the same week, and at short notice when a date is free. One thing to keep in mind for the Altstadt: the permit and delivery window need a little lead time, so a week or two of notice makes a pedestrian-zone move much easier to arrange.
Are my belongings insured during the move?
Yes. Your goods are insured under the statutory carrier liability at €620 per cubic metre, and delicate items are wrapped in blankets and film before they are carried. Floors, doorframes and the older stairwells in Siemensstadt are protected before the first box moves.
Can you pack for us, store things or clear the old place?
Yes to all three. Our team can pack and unpack, or you order the materials and pack yourself. Your things can wait in our storage in Berlin between two homes, and we can clear and dispose of whatever stays behind so the old place is handed over empty.
