Assess equipment and assembly before booking
Prepare an inventory by room and identify the items requiring specialist preparation. Include model details, dimensions, weight and manufacturer instructions so physical handling can be assessed before a moving date is agreed.
Treatment furniture
Send model details, dimensions and weights. Your authorised service provider must clarify disconnection, specialist dismantling and recommissioning; agree when furniture can be released for transport.
Clinical and laboratory equipment
Share manufacturer transport requirements and the responsible service contact. Acceptance, preparation and any specialist handling must be confirmed individually before the equipment enters the moving plan.
Practice computers and IT
Your IT contact arranges backups, shutdown and reconnection. Match devices and accessories to destination rooms and agree the physical handover separately.
Reception and waiting-room furniture
Supply a destination plan for reception, administration and waiting areas. Identify fixed components and requested assembly so placement can be planned around the rooms that are ready.

A coordinated timetable
- Label furniture by destination room
- Coordinate moving dates with appointments

Clear responsibilities
- Name practice and technical contacts
- Agree preparation and handover

Different practice layouts

Plan your practice relocation →Plan the move around your practice schedule
Link room availability, appointment planning and equipment release to the proposed moving sequence. Your practice lead coordinates specialist preparation and checks with the responsible providers. Transport completion alone does not determine when the practice can reopen.
Define patient-record access, packaging and authorised handover with your responsible practice contact before transport is agreed. Keep these arrangements separate from ordinary furniture labels. Clinical preparation, testing and release for use remain specialist responsibilities.

Interim storage for practice furniture

Practice furniture transport to or from Berlin
For a longer route, identify the address in Berlin or the nearby surrounding area and the other site. Send a detailed inventory and access information for both ends so the requested handling can be assessed.
International enquiries are assessed individually. Identify equipment and any restrictions early; specialist documentation or technical work is not automatically included.
You can discuss the moving brief and coordination in English. Include the practice lead and technical contacts, plus any available equipment instructions, with your enquiry.
Packing matched to the agreed inventory
Agree boxes, wrapping and room labels for the accepted inventory. Separate ordinary furniture packing from the preparation specified by an authorised equipment specialist. Manufacturer requirements must be clarified before protection for clinical equipment is selected.

What to clarify before your practice moves
Use one room-by-room moving plan to coordinate furniture collection, destination access and specialist responsibilities. Identify which decisions still need confirmation before the work can be scheduled.
Schedule and reopening
Agree room release, transport and handover with your practice lead. Reopening also depends on the premises and specialist checks, so coordinate those separately from the removal timetable.
Equipment and records
Nominate authorised equipment and records contacts. Ask them to define preparation, access and handover requirements before the moving scope is agreed.
Your individual quote
The quotation is based on the inventory, access, packing, transport and requested assembly. Clarify any work provided by equipment specialists separately so responsibilities are visible in the project plan.
Preparation checklist
- List equipment models and handling instructions.
- Nominate practice and technical contacts.
- Confirm preparation and handover responsibilities.
Discuss confidentiality and any required documentation with your responsible adviser or data-protection contact. Junker’s removal quote does not replace that assessment.
Frequently asked questions
Questions about moving a medical practice
Preparation, scope and your individual quote.
What does the removal service cover?
The physical work confirmed in your quotation, such as accepted furniture transport, packing, placement and agreed assembly. Clinical preparation, equipment testing and release for use require arrangements with the responsible specialists.
Is clinical equipment automatically included?
No. Provide model details and manufacturer requirements. We assess the transport separately; authorised specialists must clarify preparation and commissioning.
What determines when the practice can reopen?
The readiness of the rooms, completed specialist work and your practice’s own checks determine reopening alongside the transport schedule. We agree the physical moving sequence with your practice lead; a removal date is not a promise that appointments can resume immediately.
Who handles patient records?
Your authorised practice contact defines access, packaging, confidentiality and handover requirements before record transport is agreed. Identify the responsible people and keep record handling separate from ordinary furniture instructions.
Can you move computers?
We assess the physical packing and transport of prepared IT equipment. Your IT provider is responsible for backups, shutdown, reconnection and technical commissioning. Agree device labels and the collection and delivery handovers.
Can furniture be stored?
Ask about availability for the specified inventory. Equipment or materials with special storage conditions require separate assessment.
How is the price calculated?
Send both addresses, a room-by-room inventory and the services required. Access, equipment handling, packing, transport and requested assembly inform the individual written quotation; no single price applies to every practice.
Which locations do you cover?
Our base is Berlin. We assess local work and routes from or back to Berlin and the nearby area.
