Tell us at the survey what you have and where it stands. We confirm before you book how it can be moved and by which route – or say honestly if a particular piece needs a specialist. What we will not do is promise it on the phone and find out on the day.
How do you protect antiques, art and mirrors?
Delicate pieces are wrapped in blankets and film, edges and corners are protected, and everything is secured against shifting in the vehicle. Framed art and mirrors are packed individually and carried by hand rather than stacked. Everything is insured at €620 per cubic metre.
Is parking a problem around the Schloßstraße?
It can be – which is why we do not leave it to chance. We apply for a temporary no-parking zone directly outside the building at both addresses, so the van stands at the door and the carry stays short. On quieter Zehlendorf streets there is usually room on the property itself.
We are downsizing from a family house. Can you help clear it?
Yes. We move what you are taking and clear what stays, disposing of it responsibly, so the property can be handed over empty and on time. If the new home is smaller or not ready yet, things can also wait in our storage in Berlin.
